Red Notice: Netflix most-watched film in its debut weekend

The Red Notice is an American adventure, action comedy film that was written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The film involved such star actors and actresses as Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Ritu Arya. The film was released November 5 2021 with a budget of 200 hundred million dollars. The Red Notice was highly streamed by the Netflix subscribers. The film had record breaking streams making it the number one streaming movie on its platform. Red Notice brought in 328.8 million viewing hours, Netflix reports, topping the previous record held by Sandra Bullock’s “Bird Box” in 2018 with 282 million viewing hours (CNN 2021)

This film presents an FBI agent profiler John Harley played by Dwayne Johnson who pursues to catch one of the world’s most wanted art thief Nolan Booth played by Ryan Reynolds. They became reluctant partners in crime to catch an elusive crook The Bishop and who is also the number one art thief played by Gal Gadot.

Why I think Red Notice is the most watched film on Netflix in its debut weekend, was that they  managed to combine three of the best actors and actress of 2021 to deliver on action Dwayne Johnson and for comedy Ryan Reynolds and the amazing and beautiful on screen Gal Gadot. The collaboration of these actors and actresses on the same set will always spark excitement amount movie lovers.

The combination of three of the best actors and actress to create action, comedy and adventure were met. The casting of Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot was phenomenal. This played a part in the film being so successful on the platform. People were anticipating the action Dwayne Johnson brought to screen when he acted and the comedy that Ryan Reynolds brought. Gal Gadot was phenomenal in her role.

Everyone should go watch the movie Red Notice. It was a joyful watch. I am hoping there will be a sequel. This film is the most watched film to come out of Netflix. I recommend everyone to go watch it.
